Japanese fashion

Japanese fashion consists of a mixture of both traditional and modern styles.

Especially at festivals, women wear kimonos or yukata (a casual form of kimono that is frequently worn during summer).

The left side of the yukata is wrapped over the right side (the reverse is for the dead!), and the belt is called obi.
The thonged wooden sandals are called geta.

Welcome to Takeshita Dori, in Harajuku, Tokyo!!!Much of current pop culture originates here.
